His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the definition “Minister” in section 2 of the Canadian Multiculturalism Act, effective November 4, 2015,


(a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2008-1733 of October 30, 2008; and


(b) designates the Minister of Canadian Heritage, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of the Canadian Multiculturalism Act.


Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de la définition de « ministre » à l’article 2 de la Loi sur le multiculturalisme canadien, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :


a) abroge le décret C.P. 2008-1733 du 30 octobre 2008;


b) charge le ministre du Patrimoine canadien, membre du Conseil privé de la Reine pour le Canada, de l’application de la Loi sur le multiculturalisme canadien.


Ces mesures prennent effet le 4 novembre 2015.
