The Outstanding Achievement Award, known as the Prime Minister's award, recognizes the achievements of senior public servants who have distinguished themselves through sustained and outstanding performance demonstrated through innovation and through leadership in the attainment of Government priorities. This Award allows you to recognize a colleague of exceptional talent.
Deserving senior public servants can be nominated by departments, agencies or Parliamentarians.
Please note that, at the time of nomination, nominees must occupy a full-time position at the executive, deputy head, or equivalent levels, including Governor-in-Council appointees. A covering letter, signed by a Minister, Member of the House of Commons, Senator or Deputy Minister (or equivalent), must accompany the nomination. The closing date for nominations is June 7, 2013.
