| 2011 Spring Report of the Auditor General of Canada Chapter 1 - Expenditures for the 2010 G8 and G20 Summits The Auditor General reviewed the development of financial plans and budgets, funding requests, and recording of expenditures for the June 2010 G8 and G20 summits, and whether the amounts spent were used for the intended purposes—for security, policing, organizing, and hosting of the summits. Although it was one of the departments reviewed in the course of this audit, no recommendations were addressed to the Privy Council Office. http://www.oag-bvg.gc.ca/internet/English/parl_oag_201104_01_e_35220.html 2011 Fall Report of the Auditor General of Canada Chapter 1 - Canada’s Economic Action Plan The Auditor General’s first audit of the Economic Action Plan, reported in October 2010, examined program design and delivery mechanisms instituted by selected federal departments and agencies to implement the Economic Action Plan. This second audit of the Economic Action Plan looked at three funding programs: the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund; the Knowledge Infrastructure Program; and the Community Adjustment Fund. The audit reviewed the adequacy of program monitoring, timeliness of tracking and reporting of costs, adherence to the Policy on Transfer Payments, and reliable reporting of results.
