Chapter 1 - Canada’s Economic Action Plan

The Auditor General’s first audit of the Economic Action Plan, reported in October 2010, examined program design and delivery mechanisms instituted by selected federal departments and agencies to implement the Economic Action Plan. The audit reviewed the adequacy of program monitoring, timeliness of tracking and reporting of costs, adherence to the Policy on Transfer Payments, and reliable reporting of results.
