Ottawa, ON, December 11, 2012 – Peter Penashue, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and President of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, and Alexandre Cloutier, Québec’s Minister for Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs, the Canadian Francophonie and Sovereignist Governance, held a meeting today in Ottawa.

“Our government’s top priorities are the economy and job creation, and we believe that Quebecers and all Canadians want to see a growing economy and greater prosperity for their families,” said Minister Penashue. “I am happy to have met with Minister Cloutier in person for the first time to talk about how our governments can be partners in delivering on these priorities for Quebecers. I look forward to working and maintaining a dialogue with Minister Cloutier and the government of Québec in the future.”
